Am in Dar-es-salaam now, but i found some postings of my recent live show at the world music day gig organized by Alliance Francaise. It brought me back to life with full faith in performing again. It always seemed to me that a lot of people are creaming off and exploiting live musicians. Seems like you have to do everything yourself to avoid this and become a one man show.

I wallowed around, wondering what to do with myself outside of spending time building a music career. My mind landed on building a relationship which i thought would take me through the difficult times. Little did i know that this is what would bring me difficult times. I have been single now for about 3 months, and i love it completely. That is not to say that i dont have suitors following me and asking for applications on how to be “the one!”

Gosh, one can really be blinded by love. I thankGod for the wise men out there that are helping the female species figure out what makes men tick. Books and movies like “He’s just not that into you” offer a lot of insight on what women need to pay attention to and what they need to discard from men. I am the typical statistic of a woman when it comes to all the lovey-dovey confusion between what men say and what they actually mean.

But i have vowed to be smarter and wiser and learn more as i grow.

Looking back on my last relationship, those are 2 precious years of my life, that i will never get back!!

Am so sorry guys that i never blog but i spend so much time “facebooking” that am like what’s the use right? I cant seem to keep up with all these technologies.

I am determined now to make better use of this space, and bring you postings with indepth insight.

I am currently reading “The Prophet” by Khalil Gibran and a book called “Mc Mafia” by Misha Glenny. The prophet is so deeply profound. Mc Mafia is a fast way to understanding how organized crime became almost like the fast food chain Mc donald’s and how the world’s indulgence in things like drugs, guns, prostitution feed organized crime.

Anyway, aside from that, I am preparing for a gig on Tuesday.
